BACKGROUND
- My interest in photography began in Washington DC where I was a photo-journalist freelancing for several publications and organizations.
- In 1973 I attended a summer workshop with Ansel Adams in Yosemite and the following year was invited to return as his assistant.
- In 1977 I was voted the "most improved" student at the University of Missouri photo-journalism workshop.
- Since 1982 I've attended the Maine Photographic Workshops and the Santa Fe Workshops.
